+Titan caches a number of data, i.e. stores them into some files, to have them available upon the next start. Examples are the currently loaded show or size and position of the virtual panels or the keyboard/scratchpad. Also, logfiles are permanently written, the icon library and the exchange mapping are held in such files, and more.
+These files survive even a complete new installation of Titan, which is often a life saver but can be unwanted in other cases. Also, some of these files are so important for Titan that the software may refuse to run if a file is corrupt, or some parts - e.g. the virtual panel or the scratchpad - are missing. In such an event, the config files need to be deleted - upon the next start, Titan will happily recreate them from scratch (sometimes after some grumbling about a missing shutdown show or such).
+This is exactly what Titan Reset does: it checks the installed Titan version, makes sure Titan is currently not running, and offers to delete some or all these files, without having to stumble through Windows Explorer.
